Managing Change III
This video is the final part in of a lecture on managing complex organizational change. It explores the institutionalization of change, that is, how to make change a sustainable part of the organization.
Using a three-term model of change (nature, drivers and outcomes), Paul Goodman analyzes an example of large-scale institutional change, the introduction of self-managing teams in a manufacturing facility. He then looks at four processes necessary to create long-term sustainable change: feedback and redesign, socialization and training, commitment, and reward allocation. The video concludes with summary slides.
