“The Changing Nature of Work” is as a series of films produced by Paul Goodman (1937-2012), an acclaimed organizational psychologist who was the Richard M. Cyert Professor at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.
The videos, created for classroom use, focus on the nature of work and how technology, global competition and new demographic patterns are changing it. Short films, accompanied by teaching notes, capture workers in their job setting, talking about the work that they do. Two full-length documentaries look at unique forms of work in developing countries.
